I am planning on building a new computer in the next month. I would like to know what is considered to be the best build at this price point. I do not need the monitor, os, or any peripherals in this budget, though i would like sub $200 monitor recommendations also. I have no preferred parts.

For the build itself:

Overclocks nicely.
GTX 760 should be able to max out nearly every game, and get high on the higher end games.

For the monitor, this is a great 1080p IPS monitor on sale: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/asus-monitor-vs239hp

This will crush anything you throw at it, you can drop down the video card and put in a solid state if you would rather do that.
If you were to do that the video card I would recommend is this: Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 7950 3GB Video Card ($235.98 @ SuperBiiz)

This, i5 is stronger in gaming than AMD processors and most of the time consumes less power.
