This will be my first build and I am trying to stay under a $900 budget for a gaming pc. Main gaming is MOBA (not a fan of 1st person shooters) but would like to get into games like boarderlands, fallout, nned for speed, gta etc. I will be recycling my monitor, keyboard, mouse and 2 external storage drives. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the $750 build in my signature should run better than this. Here is a video of a similar build running BF4 at 1920x1080 on ultra.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrLMXcwHz44
And some benchmarks of CPUs in BF4

Only change I'd make is add more storage (personal choice) and use that $100 to get a better GPU

I have 3tb of external storage. Which GPU would be good for the price point? I heard the 650 TI was pretty good.

In the $250 range look to the 760, and your build is far superior to the one suggested, that graph of benchmarks is very swayed - look for BMs putting the 8350 against a Intel CPU at a clock for clock basis and the 8350 drops like a rock

I just bought the 760, it's awesome

the GPU you spec'd benchmarks at 3500, 760 roughly 5200.... now benchmarks don't tell the full story but trust me the 760 will be worth the money and it's in your budget

as for the external storage I can't say boo about that because I just did the same thing and built with only a 256gb SSD and I use external as well =D

While both are good cards the 760 is the better between it and the 7950, but can prob find the 7950 for a lettle less
