Belkin USB Adapter/Optical Output Issue

Just got a Wireless USB Adapter to replace my linksys which was having issues. After installing drivers and rebooting, I lost audio with my Astro A40's through Optical Out. Tried restarting and that time the USB Adapter did not work but Optical out did. Tried restarting again and the adapter worked but optical did not... its obvious that realtek and belkin drivers are conflicting in some way, how would I go about fixing this?

Take the USB adapter back, and try a different brand, or another Linksys one.

Get an RMA on it, and have them send you a new one.

I have several Belkin devices. It's OK equipment.
You have a driver conflict, that's all.
It happens.
