How is a FREE way to fix this in Windows 7? I'm tired of downloading something that tells you it will fix something for free only to have something pop up and tell you it will fix it if you buy their software for $29.95. It's ridiculous for them to think you're going to spend that much money or one minor problem.

BTW, the search string "Windows Live Mail Error 0x800CCC67 site:microsoft.com" on google.com will only give answers on the microsoft.com website. These will be free and carry no risk of malware/ransom-ware (pay to remove).

I strongly suggest you download and scan your system with Malwarebytes from www.malwarebytes.org (just get the free version) if you have visited any sites that you would have to pay to fix the original problem. Do a full scan and remove all nasties found.
