Hello there,

My gaming rig consists of a Asus motherboard from a pre built computer. All I would like to know is if its compatible with the new card im planning to get.

Here's the card:http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/ite...

And here's the info I could find on the prebuilt motherboard: http://imgur.com/IP5g5hR

Thanks for reading.

Yes. Any MB with a PCI X16 slot will work. But who knows if it will physically fit, or if your PSU has sufficient current capacity on the +12V rail to run it.

By physically you mean the space in the case? Cause I'm pretty certain I have a big enough case. As for the other stuff I do not understand what to do then. I'm not very experienced sorry. What do you suggest I do then?

What is the make and model number of your power supply? It needs to be of adequate wattage and current capacity to drive that big card.

Oh! Thought you were still talking about the MB. Yeah I had to upgrade my PS for the new card. Its a 750w one.

Good quality PSU, or junk? Make/model?

The GTX 780 is a 250W card maxed out.

That would draw ~21 amps at +12V. Your PSU has a single +12V rail rated at 56 amps. Plenty left for MB, CPU, drives, etc. You should be good.
