My question is whether or not you can SLI 2 GB and 4 GB cards of the same model, to the tee. I currently have an MSI N770 Lightning, that I bought before a) the price drop, and b) before I even realized to look for 4GB versions.....

So, basically I have a 2GB card and want to SLI it but if I can, I would like to grab a second card with 4GB. I don't see why this would cause issues, as it is the same card, manufacturer, chipset, and everything - simply a little more memory.

Thanks!

No. The vram in both cards do not add up when you put them in SLI. The effective vram wil be equal the the single card with less vram.
