Quick question about SLI, how do they work? I owned an Asus 770 2gb, can it pair with MSI 770 Lightning 4gb?

The Asus 770 2GB and the MSI Lightning 2Gb will work together perfectly, yes the MSI clock speed will drop down to the Asus specs to match it.

you can then use MSI Afterburner to manually adjust the clocks of both cards

If says that I pair my Asus 770 2gb with MSI Lightning 2gb, what about the clock speed? IIRC MSI's clock speed is higher than the ASUS. Will it be lower to match my ASUS's clock speed like the ram?

Thank you for such clear feedbacks, kind sir monsta. Since nvidia hack n slash their card's prices, i feel the urge to buy another one. If only Asus's price is on lower or same scale with MSI.

You are most welcome , the 770 SLI is going to be super fast, you are going to be really happy with the performance.
Would of been great to get the exact same Asus card , but if the MSI is cheaper then you may as well get it or wait just a little bit more to see if the Asus one drops in price.
