this is my first build and i'm not really tech savvy. are all parts compatible e.t.c.? I was thinking about overclocking with the cpu cooler but someone else said to replace my motherboard if i'm going to do that. I'm really paranoid when it comes to stuff like this so if an expert just ran by the build and makes sure they're all compatible with each other and I can safely overclock my graphics card and processor. if you find something wrong with the build please recommend a different item with it for example: motherboard isn't compatible, compatible motherboard for safe overclocking here (link). i'd appreciate it. thanks!

It's not the best, but it's serviceable. You'd be best off going with a 990fx chipset motherboard though. It'll add about 50 dollars to the build though, so it's up to you. The 970 chipset will overclock, just possibly not as high(stability wise) as the 990fx.
