How to connect peripherals with this new MOBO? pics

Okay maybe i got unlucky but my new ASUS M5A97 r2.0 only has 2 cables included? 2 6 Gb/s SATA cables...thats it. I have 3 HDD's. The Sandisk 60GB ssd will be my boot drive with my OS install on it, IF the 7200 rpm hitatchi works (???) i will use that, otherwise ill use the 320GB blue scorpion western digital drive. Some of these HDD's have "pins" and idk if that will work?

Problem is i have no idea how to connect all these to my motherboard that looks like it only uses SATA connections..how do i power these drives? through the mobo? through the PSU? I also have a traditional IDE DVD R/RW drive that i need connected to the board too. i just don't know how to use it..last time i was in a PC i was dealing with IDE only lol
What is my most reasonable option for getting all my peripherals hooked up here to this mobo?

this board have 6 sata 6.0 ports so ssd in the first could 0 or 1 then the bigger hhd the other but you will need another cable for the second drive but there is no ide socket so you will need to buy a sata to ide adaptor it would be cheaper to get a new dvd drive also all of them receive power from the psu check your motherboard user manual on how to do it .

so plugging the sata cable into my SSD covers "half" the port, will there be some sort of power cable that comes with my PSU to fit on the other side?? and what about the 2 pins thing next to the bottom drive? or the four pins by the middle drive? are they of concern to me? on my laptop, this is just one convenient cable that fills the whole slot (assuming its power+data). As for the DVD drive ill just remove it and install windows 7 from a pen drive.
