Hi, I just bought an external hard drive with 3.0 usb. I'm having trouble when ejecting it when using it on 2.0 usb port. when I select "safely remove device", it says ok, but the led still blinking. when I pull it, it make screeching sound, like still in use. this doesn't happen when using on 3.0 port, the led will goes off and no sound. should I ignore this? the only way I know to avoid the screeching sound is by shutting down my laptop and pull it out.
