Hello guys, so i just got my new build and i still don't have a fan setup, , i read the manual and it says that the case can be setup with the following :

TOP: 120mm/140mm X2 fans OR 200mm fan
FRONT: 120mm/140mm X2 fans OR 200mm fan
REAR: 120mm fan
BOTTOM: 120mm fan
HDD Cage: 120mm fan

i got 1 front 200mm fan and 1 120mm fan that came pre-installed on the case.

can you please help me with a good setup that will insure good airflow as i might do some overclocking, and please tell me which fans should be intake and which out.

Note: i don't care much about fan noise as much as good air flow, but less noisy is always better :)

My Build:
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H
Intel i7-4770K
Gigabyte GTX760-OC 2-Way SLI Corsair
Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) @1866MHz
Samsung 840 Pro 128GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM 64MB
Corsair TX750 PSU
Cooler Master CM690 II

I would add one 200mm fan on the side, blowing air in the case and one 200mm on top, pushing air out of the case. This is the way the high end Haf cases are configured and they are both cool and quiet.

So what you want to do is:

1) Keep positive pressure. Fans that blow air in should be more than the fans that push it out.
2) Adding a fan on the side will keep your gfx cooler.
3) Removing the hard disk bay increases front to back airflow. If you only have one ssd, put it behind the motherboard tray and unscrew the 2.5 devices bay.
4) Hot air is lighter so it will travel to the top of the case. The mesh there helps get rid of it, but a 200mm fan will probably accelerate the process, keeping your cpu a few degrees cooler under load.
