hye all... i have some question , how do i change from UEFI to legacy bios?... i have looked on some guide...but it seems i dont have the same feature of bios as them... so i dont know how to disable or change from UEFI to legacy bios, coz at my bios does not have a system to change from UEFI to Legacy... my system is Acer aspire MC605 windows8...

Solution
I do not think you can if what you are asking is replacing the UEFI BIOS with a legacy BIOS? That system was build for Windows 8 and UEFI and that is it.

If what you are asking is legacy support within the UEFI well if Acer did not provide that you are most likely out of luck there unless they release a update that adds it. But what exactly is missing that you need? There should be everything in the BIOS you need to run Windows 8 correctly.

as far as i know after long research... i came to know that each gpu has it own bios... it seems if our gpu bios is legacy and our cpu is UEFI it seems the system not detect gpu was plugged in... there is two option to, either update ur gpu bios into UEFI (if the its availabe) or turn off/switch cpu bios from UEFI to Legacy... what i do is turn off UEFI and it seems to use only legacy... then try to plug in ur gpu...

Hello, there's a new bios for the aspire e1-510 that enable the "legacy bios" option (needed to install windows 7).... Unfortunately it seems that Acer doesn't want us to install it... that's why i created the following blog where you can download everything needed : http://aspire-e1-510.blogspot.ch/
