Intel i5 4670k or Intel i7 4770k?

Thats the build i'm planning on.

Would the 4770k be worth the extra $100?

Depends on what you use your computer for, and how you are for funds.

For today's games, you don't need an i7, the i5 is just fine. But if you are into video encoding for example, you'd benefit from the i7.

I would like to be able to play games and do some music / video production.

I've found an i7 for pretty cheap on eBay. Hope it's legit.

In that case yes, the i7 would be a good choice. 16gb of ram would help as well, whereas if you are strictly gaming, most people stick to 8gb.

Personally I would get the i5 and put the extra $100 into a better GPU say a GTX 770 instead of the GTX 760. For gaming you would be better off.

So, 4 4GB Corsair Vengeance?
Or 2 8GB ones? Is that possible?
It's been 10 or so years since I've built a PC.. Sorry for my noobness.

I'd get 2 sticks of 8gb.

I'll also echo what bryonhowley says above. If you do want to play the latest games (battlefield 4 for example) on ultra settings the 760 will struggle. But it will play the game just fine on med-high settings.
