I have two concern thou.

- Asus MAXIMUS VI FORMULA ATX LGA1150 Motherboard has an onboard USB 3.0 header, but the Cooler Master Cosmos ATX Full Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports. (Solved)

- G.Skill Trident X Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-2666 Memory operating voltage of 1.65V exceeds the Intel Haswell CPU recommended maximum of 1.5V+5% (1.575V). This memory module may run at a reduced clock rate to meet the 1.5V voltage recommendation, or may require running at a voltage greater than the Intel recommended maximum.

Thanks guys..

Solution
On your combo (same as mine) first choice is the Tridents, second would be their Sniper series, both run great and have some OC headroom - I've got the 2666 Trident's and can run them at 2800.

GTX 8xx series of cards is due in the 1st Quarter of 2014, initially they were looking at Mar, but that may be moved up depending on the success of the AMD R7 and R( cards along with the price cuts on the 7xx series and release of the 770/780 TI cards 9lots of variables so it's up in the air, my guess will be early/mid Feb)
That's a pretty solid build and will definitely last the next 3~5 years.

For USB 3 up front, might get an inexpensive card reaser or the lick that has USB 3, on the DRAM, 1.65 is perfectly fine for sticks 2133 and up as well as high performance 1866, 1.5 is stated recommended as they expect you to run 1600 max and the CPU at stock as well. Further would suggest looking at GSkill for your DRAM, Corsair is relatively new to the big high freq sticks, GSkill has had a variety of 2400 sets for well over a year (actually a year and a half now, got my Tridents in May of last year), they also have much better sticks and prices

Also heard that GTX 800 series is coming in a couple months later.
Should I wait for the release or just get the GTX 780 Ti?

In a dilemma right now.

Ty guys..

Can someone give me some alternatives to the items below?

Those on my list are not really to my liking.

ON case - do you NEED a full tower? if not look at the HAF 922, if full needed, might look at the other HAF cases....and mobo, to be honest don't think you'll do better without going up into the $300+ range, I did 20 some Haswell builds before deciding on the Hero, thinking it to bes the best overall mobo - which seems to be proving true - it's best rated by customers at the Egg, by a fair margin and believe the best selling Z87

I will be getting water cooling maybe in 2-3 months time.. Currently I will need to rely on the cooling from the fans.. I dun have any preference for full or mid tower.. Just need a cool(looks) and cool(air flow) casing. :)
