Hey,

I'm looking for new parts to upgrade my computer. I intend to play new video games at 1080p with good fps (around 50-60) These are the parts I've looked into:

Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-78LMT AM3+
Cpu- AMD FX 4300
Gpu - AMD Radeon HD 7850
Ram - Corsair 8GB
Power source - Corsair CX Series 500Watt
Cpu cooler - CoolerMaster HyperTX 3 Evo

I'm not looking for any more expensive parts because my budget is a bit tight, but if you have any suggestions for different/better parts that are the same price, feel free to comment:)

I'm planning to use the 1000gb harddrive from my current computer as well as the case (medium size tower) and the dvd-player.

My current computer uses a AM2 motherboard, so will the DVD player and harddrive work with AM3+?

I have Windows Vista and I was wondering how it effects performance with new titles like Battlefield 4. Would Windows 7 or 8 increase FPS and by how much? I know Vista isn't the greatest, but I personally haven't had trouble with it and if it doesn't really slow down games it shouldn't be a problem.

Is there anything else I should keep in mind with upgrading my computer?

Also how much room is there to overclock with 500w power source?
