MSI B85M-G43 Vs Gigabyte GA-G1.Sniper B5

Solution
Well , the Sniper B5 is a gaming board while the B85M-G43 is a business class board.
Common stuff-
1xPCIe 3.0X16 slot ( no SLI or CrossFire/XFire on either board , note that it says CrossFire capable , although its a gimmick )
4 RAM Slots
B85 chipset

TBH the B85 chispet which both boards carry is the same , but the Sniper B5 has gaming features like better , discrete level inbuilt audio , faster and less lagging LAN chip , etc. These features seem overkill and may not be useful to all. If the B85M-G43 is like 30$ or more cheaper , pick it. If not I would lean towards the Sniper B5. What is your budget and current location BTW ? Maybe I can find something cheaper in the same price range. But this was if your gaming. If its a home ...

go to a site such as Newegg or the like, and do a comparison between the two motherboards to see the feature/capability differences between them. Also read some reviews of each to see which appears to be a better motherboard.

@animal - All online retailers have reviews made by people who have no idea of what they are saying , are complete dumb and those who have dead/faulty stuff review more than those who had a good experience. Then there's the poor guys giving negative reviews , etc.......
Since you seem to be reading these reviews , let me ask you something - Is that why your using a 2600K with a P67 board ?
If your lazy to help , just leave it.

I was not specifically referring to online retailers' reviews, although they can assist in determining ease of use and RMA issues, but should have been more specific as to which Review sites, such as Anandtech, her and many other places.

As far as your belittling my choice of mobo, I built my rig just after the chipset USB fiasco, and the AsRock was one of the better boards available at the time.

As for my laziness, I refuse to get into a flaming war over your arrogance and lack of common sense.

I was simply trying to point the OP in a direction where they could help themselves rather than have someone who is a make-believe expert tell them exactly what to get.

Your lazy. If you wanted to say review sites which are completely different from custom reviews on e-retail sites , you should have said that.

Well , no more comments on your mobo choice......

I never comment on other's opinion unless I feel its wrong. If thats a war in your words , fine.

That "make-believe expert" can be decided by OP. If they feel the guy is right , they follow their advice. In the end its in the OP's hand. Either try being oversmart by picking some crap the store says and then regret and sadly upgrade it , or ask other's opinion , read reviews from review sites , compare , conclude and buy.
