whats the standard refresh rate & ms for the led in games???

suggest me a brand also & I'm looking to buy a 18.5 inch led & are all modern leds 720 & 1080p??? & somebody can explain to me what is refresh rate & ms ??? & how do you check your lcd/ led's ms?

To check your refresh rate, Right click on your desktop. Go to the screen resolution page. Click advanced settings. Click the monitor tab. It will then show you the refresh rate.

60 Hertz with 3ms is the most standard monitor. Better refresh rates give you a better gaming experience. It's able to show more frames from your game if you were to get high frames. Standard monitors do not have the capabilities to do this. 120 Hz monitors and up make it so you don't have to enable V-sync in most cases. 120Hz monitors can be quite expensive though. If you're planning on getting a new one, good brands to go for are: BenQ, Asus, LG and possibly acer. Hope this helped

how to check the ms though? & aren't Dell & Alienware leds good? Ik Alienware is owned by dell to but they act like different companies & can a 18.5 inch led be in wide screen?

Yeh, they're alright. Look at the product description and see if it suits your needs. There isn't any way to find out your response time unless you find your monitor online and find out the specs.
