I have been asked by a friend to help build his son a gaming computer, the initial price he wanted to spend was £650, I have come up with this initial list coming in over budget.

I want to order this fairly soon so I can get it built and sorted it out well in advance of Christmas in case I need to mess around sending any components back.

Monitor + peripherals are not required.

I would prefer to order from Ebuyer.com which is where I have obtained the following prices from.

I'm unsure if I should switch the Extreme3 for the Pro3 and get a cheaper PSU, is it worth making this SLI compatible for future upgrades?

Also he would like to stick with Intel/Nvidia.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, the price cannot go above what it currently is but would be a bonus if there were anything better suited at a lower price.

Thank you.

I think your rig is just fine (although I prefer Corsair PSU's). ince you are in the UK, check on scan.co.uk. Maybe you can get cheaper prices and they ship next day delivery for just 4 quid. And if you spend over a certain amount you pay no shipping costs.

Hope this helps!
