Build computer keeps freezing up/hanging while in use, first I thought it was my ram..

So my computer has been hanging up during normal use. The mouse will freeze, or sometimes it won't, but all programs except current audio will stop running.

The CPU will drop, and then a few seconds, sometimes thirty, it will jump back up and everything will continue as normal.

My specs are

Mobo: ASRock 970 extreme 3
Ram: Corsair (4x2GB) DDR3 1333 MHz (PC3 10666
CPU: AMD fx-6300
PSU: Raidmax Power Supply ATX 600 Power Supply - RX-600AF
GPU: Powercolor 7950

It happened a bit when I ran my old 430w psu, along with my gtx 650ti.

I recently upgraded to the new psu and gpu and the problem has still persisted.

I tested my ram for 8 hours with mem test, also put the cpu back to stock (was stable OC, and always watched my temperatures on everything) and the problem still occurs.

The ram is perfect, and so I thought maybe the hard drive was failing or that windows was corrupted.

Today I took my computer apart, re-seating the cpu/aftermarket cooler, popped in a nonissue ssd, and reinstalled windows clean, and I am still getting hang ups and errors with just these items.

I also updated the bios to the latest.

I really don't know where to turn. The only things I haven't swapped out are my cpu, and my mother board.

I am looking for any advice or suggestions before I have to bite the bullet and by a brand new mobo and cpu.

This isn't making sense to me :(

from my point of view :
#1 raidmax PSU is a bad quality psu, even if it claims 600W
swap with Seasonic/XFX 550W or more. remember 7950 is a power hungry GPU

#2 it could be a GPU driver issue, try clean-uninstall old driver and find newer/older AMD Radeon driver

did you say you have an ssd?

I have used a different PSU and it still occurs, and it never crashes with this new psu, just hangs up and temporary freezes.

Second, I did a clean install of EVERYTHING, on a SSD that has never given me problems and it still happens.
