Seems like i am the only one having this problem.
I tried everything, reinstall windows, reinstall the game 4 times, cmd -> "chkdsk", cmd -> "sfc /scannow", no errors and no wrong files in my windows.
Every single driver is up to date, windows, gpu and the mainboard drivers + settings are all up to date.
Everytime i try to start the game over steam it doesnt show up at all and just closes after a second. If i try to start it manually from the steam folder it just shows: "The application was unable to start correctly 0xc000007b"
I feel so alone with this problem, cant anyone help?

1. Download Dependency Walker 2.2 x64 from here: http://www.dependencywalker.com/depen...

2. Extract depends22_x64.zip to C:\DWalker

3. Open a command window (open your Start Menu and type "cmd")

4. In the command window, enter this command: cd C:\DWalker

5. Next, enter this command: depends.exe /c /f:1 /pb /pp:0 /pg:0 /ot:MinInfo.txt [Call Of Duty Ghosts_INSTALL_PATH]\iw6sp64_ship.exe -AuthToken=0000 -seekfreeloading

6. Open MinInfo file in DWalker folder

7. Scroll Down to the last line and u'll see something like this

Loaded "XINPUT1_3.DLL" at address 0x0000000000400000. Successfully hooked module.
Unloaded "XINPUT1_3.DLL" at address 0x0000000000400000.
Loaded "XINPUT1_3.DLL" at address 0x0000000000400000. Successfully hooked module.
Unloaded "XINPUT1_3.DLL" at address 0x00000000004000000

8. That's the bad file (In my case,Might vary in your)

9. Search for that file in these 2 locations and delete them
C:\Windows\System32
C:\Windows\SysWOW64
10. Now download required software and install (In my case DirectX). Usually installing DirectX and C++ distributable (for x64) at this point should fix

11. Check this link for fix reference
http://gurufixes.com/index/call-of-duty-ghosts.html

12. Check this link for reference (though its for a different game the method is same)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0sACXlDvubs

13. Hope this Works

note: 1 This might work for other games as well give it a try
2 Thank Dragonhanx for his nice and easy tutorials

Even I had the same issue guys. With NFS rivals, Watch Dogs, and now for COD Ghost. its basically issue with DirectX. U may have to unpack the .cab files in the directX folder n copy them to installation folder. For step by step instructions just try in youtube saying, Watch Dog application error withthat 0007b error. There are many detailed instructions.. Just do the same for all.. For me Rivals and Watch Dog issue has been resolved by the same step.. Have to try for Ghost too.
