My computer currently has an
AMD A-10 5700 APU
i am using the onboard radeon 7660D with 512 mb VRAM

its power supply is 300w.

what is the best GPU and PSU combination i can get for under 160-170$?

ahhh, i misread your question...PSU/GPU would be same GPU and a 500W Corsair PSU or the XFX 550W should be within your budget

Not really. Your A10 by itself with fast(1866mhz) RAM would handle up to med settings on 720p.

You could add a HD 6670 and run dual graphics, but don't expect miracles.

You need to buy 2 identical 2GB or 4GB sticks at least 1600mhz or 1866mhz and run them in dual channel. Your 10Gb is running at 1333mhz and NOT in dual channel. RAM makes all the difference with these apus. You can also allocate more RAM for your igpu. You can possibly overclock your 7660D a little.
