My Graphics card is not detected

I Have got a new computer yesterday and only the on board the graphics card is detected the graphics card i have in it is an AMD RADEON 8470D and the on board one is an ATI RADEON 5800.When i plug the VGA Cable into the graphics card it says to cheak that its in properly but when it in the on board one it works fine.

Please help me as fast as you can,Thank You.

  1. That is not a graphics card. The Radeon 8470D is the AMD APU's integrated graphics.

    oh sorry its just im totally new to all this and i just dont know what is causing all this problem,can it be a confliction maybe ?

  4. Try disabling the onboard graphics and using the 8470D instead. Do you have the drivers installed for it?
