8gb Corsair Vegeance dont run at 1600mhz

hello guys i own the above memories and my bios say that they run at 1333mhz!why is that happening and is there anything i can do to make them run at 1600mhz or oc them?thnx in advance

what is your system spec..?

To run in 1600 Mhz speed, you can change the speed through bios..

If in an Intel system you need to enable XMP profile in UEFI/BIOS. Setting manually is as well an option.

Any time you first install DRAM it installs to the mobos default most often 1333 with Intel, then as mentioned above, go to BIOS enable XMP, select Profile 1 and the BIOS should configure the DRAM for you
