Well, firstly i need to warn you about that PSU. I have doubts if that PSU can handle a strong GPU. I read not good stuff about that PSU.

Secondly, can you tell what display do you use and what resolution?

No it is nearer to 1080p but requires less powerful GPU than what 1080p requires. Your CPU is actually a good one. Not the best but decently good. Well i can recommend you some GPUs BUT i really have serious doubts about your PSU. As far as i know, it is a tier 4 PSU (a level above the worst).

Let's say i recommend you:
- a ~$300 GPU like Radeon R9 280X or Nvidia GTX 770
- or a $400 GPU like Raden R9 290
- or a $500 GPU like GTX 780

Sadly, your PSU will probably not handle any of these. BUT let's say if you can get a $300 GPU and a nice PSU, it will work out nicely. However if you want to go ahead and just buy a GPU, you'll take a big risk of blowing your hardware with that PSU

I'd suggest a better CPU for BF4. I had an i5-750 quad core OC'd to 4GHz and the BF4 Beta kicked it's butt.

The retail version runs smoother granted. But I'm playing now on a 4.6GHz i5-4670K and I can see 60% CPU usage on average across all four cores. Like BF3, BF4 responds well to having a good CPU.

Video card wise, my GTX 770 can do High @ 1080p during crazy multiplayer. Otherwise I can do Ultra on the campaign without issue. You don't need a $500 GPU for BF4 at your resolution.

No one can say :)  If i were you, the PSU would be the first part to change before even considering a GPU upgrade. There are nice PSUs out there, cheap and reliable. Here is an example: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
It costs only $59 after rebate. Then put a GTX 770 or R9280X on top that, here you go. You can even upgrade your CPU down the road and be ready for latest games
