Hi guys I got a AMD FX 8120 - And I am getting really high temps with obviously because I got the stock cooler. I am going to get a new cooler but I am a little bit confused on which cooler should I get.. I am not planning to do overclock or anything related right I may stay with stock settings right now.
CPU Temps: 40 - 50 while idle
Budget for my new cooler: 100$
I was thinking on getting the noctua NH-U14S or the NH-D14 or something like that or a cooler master evo 212 will be just fine ... PS: I am not interested in water cooling right now!

Hardware:
Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 Rev 1.0
Corsair Vengeance ddr3 4gbx2
Antec True Power New TP-750 (750 watts)
Thermaltake v4 Case
ASUS HD7870 2GB DDR5

Yep, everything is checked the other reason I want to change the stock cooler is because it started to get really noisy. I did clean it and everything but it keep doing this weird noises and it is not working as it used to...

Stock coolers tend to be loud and...pretty crappy in my opinion. Fans you should go for are the Hyper Evo 212, or the Artic A30 CPU Cooler (the one I'm using). Both give great temperatures and are almost silent.

Yeah they do tend to be a bit noisy lol. My stock cooler for my old i5 was insane loud :p I replaced it with a Hyper Evo 212, and bought 2 Corsair Quiet SP 120s for the fans. Can't even tell it's running :) That would be my recommendation. It's cheap, easy to install, and it works amazingly well. I actually just installed a H80i Water Cooler a couple weeks ago, and the Evo gave me pretty much the same temps for less than half the price

The Hyper Evo 212 is fine. It's really good, don't worry :) Artic Cooler A30 looks cooler though xD

The Evo is a great cooler, and will work for you just fine. Since your ambient temps are a bit higher than most, that will factor into your temps, but you should be well within safe ranges :) I can't remember if it comes with 1 or 2 fans, but I would recommend running it with 2 either way. A good set of quiet static pressure fans will give you the silence and performance you are looking for
