Hi
I have core i5 2320 and ati 7990, 4gb RAM 1333 , 1TB HHD , PSU kentek 850w
the question is dose core i5 2320 bottleneck ati 7990 ?
now I playing BF 3 on ultra with fps 70 to 120
but i have low fps with assasin creed 3 need for speed mw and far cry 3
also when I playing crysis 3 on ultra especially when I put object setting on ultra the fps drops from 70 to 30 , :(

Solution
It shouldn't. The IPC of the Sandy Bridge processors is fast enough to keep up with the HD 7990's 2 x HD 7970s in CF. But you will definitely want the new beta driver (13.11) to eliminate micro stutter.

Your RAM should be fine. If your MB BIOS allows, you could try O/C it a bit more. The SB's memory controller is rated at 1333MHZ, so you are within specs with 1333MHZ. My i5-2500K is running 1866MHZ memory modules @ 1866MHZ with no issues.

Btw, what is the +12V rating on that PSU. I never heard of that brand before.

No, it shouldn't bottleneck the 7990. The low FPS with AC3 and Crysis might be related to the graphics drivers. Try and check for any updates!
