Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my PC and believe CPU and gpu are my best bet with a $400-450 range within the next 2-4 weeks if these upgrades would be worth. I am not looking to overclock.
Current specs.
CPU-intel i3-2120
mobo-asrock b75
gpu- Hd radeon 6870
Memory-8gb
power supply- PC power and cooling silencer MK III 500w 80+bronze
Monitor-1920x1200 28'' but i play all my games at 1920x1080
hard drive- 500gb 7200

currently I'm looking at going to a i5-3570,

and 7950 for gpu, I chose this sapphire one because i do not understand why it costs $30-40 more than the XFX one but is actually the same price after rebates.

Would these upgrades be worth the money? The games i play are mainly warcraft, but i plan to get games such as bioshock infinite, skyrim, and other games that may be released.

Both of those are a great choice for an upgrade. Wouldnt change anything. The sapphire is more due to the fact it has an overall higher build quality, and better cooler.

Yeah those will work good together and would definitely will be worth the money. You will have no issues running those games on the highest settings
