SO I have a SSHD and an Asus optical drive.... I Need sata power supplies..... I have the cables but they have four pins on them... the problem is I have a modulated PSU....

I bought sata cables with the six slot PEI but the other end will not fit into the harddrive nor the optical drive....

I need sata power cables with female psu for the psu and female connectors to the harddrive....
any help is appreciated.

The connector on the left in your picture is the (6+2)-pin PCI Express Supplementary Power Connector that is used for graphics cards.

The connector on the right in your picture is the SATA power connector that is used for SATA HDDs and ODDs.

I got one of those...... But when the power is on it's not opening my optical drive when I'm telling it to... Could it be because my motherboard may be trash? (time picture was posted I had a lga 1366 mobo and 980x i7... replacing with an i5 and lga 1150.... (motherboard is from Pegatron who does not or refuses to give me the manual....) )or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks.

That is the third picture in the photobucket link, put it next to the red sata cable. There should be one on the harddisk and the dvd player.
