Hello all - long time th reader, first time poster.

I'm considering upgrading my rig to something more beefy that'll last another few years. I was considering the new GeForce GTX 780 Ti but I think this will mean I need a new motherboard too.

Here's my current setup;
Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz
8GB RAM
Asus P8Z68-V LX motherboard
GeForce GTX 560 Ti

With the GeForce GTX 780 Ti in mind, could any friendly enthusiasts recommend a good tried-and-tested motherboard to go with it? I may buy a second GTX 780 Ti in the future so a board that will comfortably fit both.

Thanks in advance!

You can run the GTX 780 gpu's on PCI 2.0 slots and in SLI on that board. Depending on the native resolution you run there may not even be any loss of performance.

If you want to upgrade to a new MB though that has some future proofing in it and will allow you to migrate all your components, then look at Asus's Maximus V extreme MB. Killer board.
