Hello all,

I'm new to the gaming world but was hoping that someone might be able to help me out with a few upgrades to my computer.

The 8700 came with a Nvidia GeForce 635. This was perfect for getting me fired up about the PC gaming world but I have now come to the realization that this card just wont do for a full gaming setup. I have two dell 23" monitors and want to pick up a third and get some 2D Surround/eyefinity running (depending on the card right?)

SO, what card do you suggest that will get me 1080 on all three monitors and keep up with modern games like Battlefield or Skyrim? The mother board in my computer (Dell Lynx Point Z87)0 only has on x16PCI slot so that mean no SLI support? Possible to get a heavy duty card needing only one x16 and use the other x8 for power supply? Bigger card means more power consumption so I would have to upgrade the PSU as well right?

The Current System:
Intell i5 - 4440
16GB Ram
1TB HDD
GeForce GT 635
150W PSU

Thanks for any input!

Yes the psu is very weak and you will need a new one, also sli is not that good and it wont work on that mainboard i guess. How much do you want to spend on GPU and seperate on PSU? I wonder how they sell a pc with that psu and it is a wonder that your hardware is still ok.

Well the price doesn't really matter, that will just dictate the time it takes to get it. What ever gets me full 1080 on trip monitors using just the one x16 pci and x8 for power (I have these numbers correct, right?). I haven't cracked the case so I'm not even sure that the aux pci is available? Do they make cards that run in this kind of configuration?

Full 1080 on bf4 on 3 monitors will lower the fps and I don`t know exactly how much fps it will get, need somebody to help you more with that. If the price does not really matter the new gtx 780ti is the best option http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... but the price is very high. The GPU will use the pci x16 slot and it would need 1 x 6 pin and 1 x 8 PCI-E Power connectors for power from the new psu.
A good psu http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... from Corsair.
