They're the same price in the UK, so it's difficult to decide. Is the airflow good on the r3, and I heard that the corsair is a bit loud. Thanks!

This is how my Corsair Carbide 300R looks like with the following:

AMD FX8350
8 GB DDR3 Corsair
E-VGA GTX760 SC ACX
4xHDD
1xSSD
1XBluray

As you can see plenty of space left. Could have done a better job on wire management but those SATA cables are very hard to bend.
The case is not loud, loud is the CPU cooler when in full load. The video card sits at around 33° C when idle , didn`t keep track in load but saw it around 60° C+. I think you can use a Corsair H110i water cooler with it if you won`t use the top 5" slot for DVD/Bluray but i`m not sure. the case fans are silent but if you really wanna go slient crazy you can change them with Noctua ND14 or 12 or something, Linus on LinusTechTips on youtube recomends those fans.

So its not loud as I thought it was, which is good. But, how come you have 4 HDDs and 1 SDD? Also, do you think that this is better than the define r3?
