Hi guys i built a stock 780 system a month or two ago and i must say after +200 on core and +375 on memory I still am pretty dissapointed with the results, i play bf4 mostly and on high preset settings i average around 55 causing my 144 hz monitor to a complete waste of money am I doing something wrong or do I need sli to get around 100 fps?

If you do go for SLI wait 4 - 6 weeks. The introduction of the new AMD R9 290 at $399 will heavily pressure Nvidia to drop the price of the GTX780.

And I am guessing you will need SLI to meet or break the 100 frap mark. BF4 is pretty intensive.

Agreed. I really wish I had waited for the 290 to come out before I bought my 780. But I jumped on Nvidia's first price cut, and paid $530 for it.

First of all thank you guys so much for the fast replies! <3 I have an i7 4770k oc at @4.2 ghz cooled with the coolermaster 212. i will sli them in 4 weeks then thanks for the tips BUT wont the air in my case get too hot? I have an amor revo case(yes that ugly as fuck one I still don't know why i bought it) with the stock 3 fans inside, will that be enough? btw i cant find the xfactor vid about optimizing bf4 for the 780

How are your fans set up? intake/exhaust etc..
I've found that 4 fans is a sweet spot.
1 intake on the front of the case, 1 intake on the side, 1 exhaust on the back and 1 exhaust on the top of the case. Also the quality of the fans do make a difference and if it's noise that concerns you a fan controller is a good idea. I have the Laptron FC6 with maual control and 4 separate temperature sensors.

Ah sorry I didn't see that you had a front intake. Skimming through a lot of posts:D

Your temps seemed fine anyway. I guess your card just doesn't like being overclocked unless it is a driver issue of some kind which caused the issue

Cool! xD Just take note that unparking those cores causes larger power consumption. I would restore to the default settings when not gaming so that the cpu won't be used more than it has to.
