Current Specs:
CPU: AMD FX-6350
Video card: PNY Geforce GTX 560 Ti
RAM: 8 gb 1866 mhz
PSU: 750W
MB: ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

I'm looking to buy another 560 Ti. Would I be able to get a noticeable boost in FPS in games with another 560 Ti on this motherboard and with this hardware. I was also looking to buy the same exact card but they don't sell the 560 Ti anymore so I went on ebay to look some up and there are some cheaper ones but they are a different brand and with less core clock and memory clock. What are the requirements to SLI? You can give me a link to a website with some informaion that would be very appreciated. Also would my PSU be enough to run another one?

I've read the only way you can get barely any SLI bonus is with a x1 lane. x4 and up you can get upped FPS on games.

Ive had the same issue with my gigabyte z68-apd3 which didnt support sli before upgrading to the asrock z77 but pretty much if your thinking about going sli u would need to exchange the motherboard and make sure it supports SLI/crossfire at x8/x8 speeds as well which then will allow you to SLi gpus wlist giving you the option to go crossfire incase you wanna make switch to amd..Always good to have best of both worlds

From my experiences with sli i disagree with that statement but i dont recommend crossfire..

Only times ive seen issues is when a game releases and nvidia is working on updating the sli profile or adding other then that ive seen no microstuttering or heat issues of any sort and i would recommend sli to anyone. Heres some of the games ive ran so far

BF4
BF3
Cod black ops 2
Splinter cell black list
Bioshock infinite
Grid 2
Skyrim
Metro 2033

And those are just some of the games i can think of and theres plenty more out there..Sli imo works well actually almost to good
