Gtx 780 sli or gtx 780 to?

I recently bought a gtx 780 acx, sc during nvidia'a price drops for $499. I completely forgot that they were gonna release the gtx 780 ti. Should I return my 780 and get the ti or get another 780 and sli?

I would go 780ti over 780 SLI. (If I had to upgrade)

What resolution are you gaming at? If you are running a single 1080p monitor, the regular 780 is probably already a little overkill.

Point taken, but Not neccesarily so; as it could depend on if he is considering doing any 3D gaming.

For example, I tired benchmarking Batman Arkham City in 3D and found I got as few as TEN* FRAMES PER SECOND in Ultra settings on the Asus 1080p 3D monitor (*averaged 37fps).

Using an iChiLL GTX 780 ULTRA OC (in an i7 4770 rig).

What will future programs & games require of hardware?

Im guessing your at 1080p which the gtx 780 is WAY more then enough and still you can go sli with another 780 which would be EXTREMELY powerful at that resolution.

I have a 1080p 3D Monitor and games like Batman Arkham city go down to as few as 10fps at ULtra settings at 120Hz in 3D even using a top end GTX 780 Ultra.

Normal 1080p monitor I agree GTX 780 is fine. I think its worth the extra.
