the Kingston hyper x 3k 240gb is $180 at micro center but the OCZ technology agility 4 256gb is $150.

the Kingston is about 100mb faster in read and write but the OCZ has 16gb more (a full game or two) for $30 less, is the speed difference that noticeable and if it is, is the extra $30 worth it. Mainly going to play games and internet along with some word documents, rarely would I do huge file transfers.

I think in your situation you would want to lean towards the agility 4. The extra storage and cheaper price are nice. However, the hyper x is a bit faster (more noticeable during large file transfers) and significantly more reliable. The agility 4 is no longer being manufactured which means it is of an older, less reliable SSD generation which scares me a bit. Either way you should be fine, but I would be aware of the reliability issues of the agility 4.
