my computer doesnt send HDMI signal

i think my computer doesnt send a signal to my HDTV when i connect with HDMI.
i got a GT640 card.
when i connect it to my laptop it works perfectly fine.

someone can help? any help is appreciated

On the back of the TV the HDMI's are marked. Choose the one labeled computer. Make sure you go into your control panel and select your TV once you hook it up. Start>Control Panel>Display>Change Display Settings. Best of luck...
