Hey guys, real quick, I would like to know if this motherboard that I currently own (Foxconn A7VMX-K):

http://www.foxconnchannel.com/ProductDetail.aspx?T=motherboard&U=en-us0000373

...is compatible with this graphics card (EVGA 02G-P3-2617-RX GeForce GT 610 2GB 64-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card) with a 480w PS:

It's a cheap and significant upgrade from what I can tell because I am just using my onboard video. By all looks it does look compatible.

I simply I just want something that can play newer games on Steam like Batman Arkham Asylum, Call of Juarez Gunslinger & FarCry Blood Dragon because if I can't I just wasted 12 bucks...

Does it check out? Is there something better for around the same cost?

Please help me confirm this before I purchase it! Thanks alot!

with any of the games listed..the low end cards going to have hard time playing them. I would save up and get a larger power supply and a 7770 or 7850 gpu. the newer gpu is going to be faster then the 3000 chipset on the mb. the problem is that games are needing newer and more powerfull gpu and cpu each year. the older card will give you somewhat of a playeable game at low res with all the eye candy off.

Dope dude, thanks for replying so quick! I really need the advice.

Will this hybrid crossfire between APU and this new AMD GPU happen automatically when I install it? How do I know if what I have will do this crossfire?

Thanks for the link.

I saw on a quick search that you can enable crossfire through this AMD Vision Control Center and click "Enable Crossfire" easy enough.

I just looked and that card from ParkPicker url you shared and it said Crossfire was not supported...is that correct?

Dope dude thanks. I'm sold.

So to confirm it will play those latest/semi new steam games I mentioned? They recommend 1024 MB graphic cards so that looks to fit the bill. It would be a significant upgrade wouldn't it from like 256 to 1gb?

Secondly my only worry is reading the reviews people were upset about the DVI connection being not pictured correctly that it infact being DVID instead of the standard DVI. I'll just use the HDMI to bypass that right? Wouldn't bother me if I had to.

Yeah I kinda figured that unfortunately. Well heres the thing I bought both Xbox One and PS4 and was hoping to fast ship a card that I could play these games without wasting the cash I did on steam so I may just save it up and create a new build, all signs point to that and no sense in dumping money into this rig when next gen is Wednesday at Midnight...I think I can wait. I thought maybe there was a way I could have my cake and eat it too. I'll just remain a console gamer.

Thanks for your help dude I really appreciate it, if you have a gamertag or PSN name, I'll add ya. If not, thanks again for your time tonight.

THANKS BRUH
