Hello, i have the C states disabled. XMP profile is turned on and Ram is running at correct speed and dual channel.

I have never updated the Mobo Bios or Intel Chipset.

Power saving is off and single monitor is enabled.

to update the mb bios is easy. download the 2104 bios file. rename it to z77st.cap. put it on a usb stick and plug the usb stick into the usb flashback port. turn the power off and press the usb flashback button. the blue led will come on and start blinking. it blink for a few min then turn off. power up and wait for the new bios file to load. go into the bios save factory default and exit then go back in turn on xmp and setting you had. for the intel chipset. google intel chipset drivers and download the newest ones.

Okay did all of that and scores haven't changed :(

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/7463031

Shows CPU at 1.6Ghz but i'm sure its clocking at 4.4Ghz when needed. I have Speedstep enable to downclock to 1.6 when idle.

Any other changes maybe in the bios?

I have PLL disabled, all C states Disabled. Running an offset for the 4.4Ghz overclock with Turbo and Speedstep enabled. XMP Profile with correct RAM speed.

Do you think its because of Windows 8?

I will post the answear directly from futuremark, i asked the same question : "Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 indeed have differences in the operating system kernel and one difference we've observed is that they act slightly differently in the CPU test - Windows 7 manages to dedicate more available resources for this test and this then shows as higher physics score.

We can only guess what the actual reason under the operating system hood is, but what you're seeing is indeed known to us and "normal" in that it is not because your PC is somehow acting up."

Hope it helps.

I get 7300 physics in win 8.1 and 8100 in windows 7 so it is normal.

This is my score in windows 7 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/9690931, and i get same scores as u in windows 8.1 so it is a OS thing.

EDIT: Well to fix the low frequency showing u either disable any save state of the cpu in bios, either u go to power option in windows and set the computer to high performance.
