Hi,
I already own an AMD ATI 6670 gpu. I was planning on upgrading my rig. I have certain options:

1) Selling my existing card and buy a new gtx 650ti/660
2) buying another 6670 .Crossfire .

Both would cost me approx the same.
So which one would be better?

Also please consider on : gpu cooling (due to crossfire) ,psu ( got corsair cx430v2)... mobo

Thankss! :)

Solution
I would recommend going with a newer GPU instead of getting another 6670, it will simply last longer in the future, and will be compatible with new features such as AMD's Mantle API. And even though a pair of 6670s won't be very power hungry, it'll still be a bit of a handful for a CX430 power supply. Go for the best single GPU current-gen card you can afford. Take a look around online during Black Friday, you may be able to pick up an R9 270X for less than you think, or if you're really lucky, a 280X for $200. Totally possible.

Thanks for ur quick reply. I understand it wont be a good idea then...

I'll wait out another year or so before upgrading. Meanwhile can you suggest a good cpu+Mobo combo for gaming with a cx430v2 ? So that I wont be having a bottleneck later when I upgrade my gpu...

Currently I am using a reeeeaally primitive intel c2d oc'd at 2.6ghz. :( My budget would be around 15k max

You could get an AMD combo for about $250, depending on the prices in your market. An AMD FX 8320 would be a very good buy, along with a Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3, for a little over $250. See if you can catch some discounts during sales.

How about a GTX 760 or 670? That would fit that budget. I just bought a second GTX 670, refurbished, for only $240 USD. It is probably an efficient enough card to work with that power supply, although you will be pushing it and might need to disable turbo boost.

The $250 is for a cpu+mobo combo... not planning to change my existing 6670 for now... but need a decent cpu+mobo for any future gpu upgrades. dont want to face any bottlenecks ...thats all :(
