I had "the user profile service failed the logon" come up. I looked online and found steps to fix it. After fixing it it seems I have lost my wireless network connection. The laptop no longer detects any wireless network. The router is working fine as our phones, ipad and old laptop still connect wirelessly to the internet. Did the online steps delete it? The wifi button is on. How can I fix it? I even connected a LAN Ethernet cable from the router to the laptop but nothing was detected.

maybe some sort of ipflsush or iprenew dnsrenew in the cmd? did you unplug your router, and modem, let them stay unplugged for a little while, then set back up? and if all else fails, have you tried resetting the router and making a new wireless network, and reconnect all devices accordingly?
