I'm looking for advice on upgrading my hard drive speed. Basically I want a huge drive that I can have all my games installed on with good load times. My desktop has a 120gb os drive and a 2TB hdd in it right now. I have another 3TB hdd I was thinking about putting in raid 0, or getting a 60gb ssd for a smart response cache drive or both.

The other thing I've been considering was 2 new SSHD's in raid 0. I just got a new laptop with this setup and i've been very impressed with it.

My motherboard is a pz77v-lk with 2 6gb/s and 4 3gb/s sata connections.

Well it all depends on your budget. Samsung 840 EVO's come is sizes up to 1TB and and they are reasonably priced. So basically you could just get one of the bigger ones if your budget is in the $500 range. But even at about $300 where the 500GB EVO is, there is already pretty nice performance to be had.

I'm not looking to spend 300-500 for less storage space. Last week I saw 2x1TB SSHD's for $180 which would be fine. Otherwise I'm wondering about using my 2TB and 3TB drives with a 60gb SSD cache.
