This is a very long story. First I had windows7 with two partitions c with 80 gigs and d with 170 gigs. I wanted to install ubuntu 10.04 server install cause that was the only version iwas able to find. Running alongside windows 7 with dualboot. I burned a cd inserted the cd and began the installation. unfortunately I accidentally created one single partition of 250 gigs. One I saw the mistake I immediately terminated the installation and got the cd of my pc.then after a reboot windows7wasn't able to start I inserted the windows7installation disk to see what's wrong. I clicked on custom install and it showed my partitions. This is how it looked like there were for partitions one was unallocated space with total size of 0 mb another was partition 1 with 243mb total size and 0 mb free space primary another one was just like the first one and the last one was partition 2 with total size of 248 gb and 0 lb free space logical. Weird right. anyone know how to fix this problem without losing my data. Please I have really important data and I don't want to lose it. Ant kind of help would be appreciated. Thank you.
