I have a WD Scorpio Blue 500 GB hard disk and it is 2 and a half years old. But it recently got undetected in BIOS and I replaced it with a new another hard drive and the new one worked fine. Now I don't know what to do with my failed one. Can I sell it and if yes where ? Or can I repair it ? Since it is an OEM drive WD asked me to contact my laptop manufacturer but I don't want to go there and also is there anything else can I do with it. Kindly help me.
