-Yes, the build is good and it is pretty much futureproof.
-Latter on you should get SSD, to secure even faster work.
-Your PSU can handle SLI/Crossfire, so you can add another card in the future.
-About the monitor, you should get Asus VE247H, it has faster response rate, better picture quality, higher contrast and it is only 10-15$ more
