Approximate Purchase Date: within a few months, the cheaper it is the sooner.

Budget Range: preferably 700 - 1000 Before Rebates; After Shipping The less the better. I just want the most bang for my buck, I don't make a lot of money.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: I will use this rig for mainly gaming and video streaming. The games will not be too intensive. I mainly play games on Steam like Dota and bioshock infinite. Starcraft II as well. and I am looking forward to titanfall too.

Are you buying a monitor: No, I have two and will be using both. one is 21" the other is 27"

Parts to Upgrade: Want a whole new rig, I have a Nvidia GeForce GTX 550 TI that I could use if it will get me better parts elsewhere. I do not mind upgrading that down the line.

Do you need to buy OS: Yes windows 7 64 bit, I do not know much about 8 but I hear its not to great, if it is good then that is fine by me.

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com, would be best but I have no real preference.

Location: Southern California USA

Parts Preferences: I do not care one way or another, whatever gets me the most bang for my buck.

Overclocking: Maybe, have never done it before

SLI or Crossfire: I do not know what this means.

Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080, for both.

Additional Comments: I would prefer something that runs quiet. I just want something that will be good for playing games without breaking the bank. I can always upgrade my ram and graphics card but I don't want to have to worry about the motherboard or CPU for a long time. I have a GTX 550 TI and I would be fine with keeping that for now.

Why Are You Upgrading: My current computer is getting old and dying on me.

Thank you very much for your help. And if I left anything out that you might need to know please let me know. This will be my first build. :)

Thanks for telling me about SLI and Crossfire.

So with this set-up I will be able to run games on High? And if need be upgrade the graphics card down the line? I currently have an I5 750 quad core @ 2.67 Ghz (I think I had th first gen i5's) so how much better would this new processor be?

It's a good base card.If you're going to be upgrading soon, the XT would make do for a great interim card. But as you're gaming on two screens,i don't exactly know how good it will be.More VRAM on the card is required if you're gaming on 3 or more monitors. But you're running two. It should be good, but i'll let people more knowledgeable than me clarify that

As for CPU,perhaps this may shed some light?

Well to be fair I usually only run games on the 27 and a browser open if needed and something like mumbles or vent on the other monitor... not sure if that changes anything..

+1 this build, although could always spend a few dollars more on the gpu and go one step up to a 7950
