question about quality of psu`s

Solution
I like the XFX 550 - 750W psus (Made by Seasonic)- keep your eye open there are always sales. Antec, Corsair, Seasonic.... all make good psus.

usually good PSU comes with a label 80+

I've never heard of MS-Tech before so I'd stay away from it but that is my opinion.

Do you mean the MS tech psu? I can`t see any voltage selector there (at least if it should be outsite of the case)? Not much ampere at +12 rail or? This is bad i heard but the guy did not respond why. The brand is german and they sell mainly in Germany but the quality seems not that good from what i see in some product reviews. If the eff. is even lower at the stated 75% the pc will not go more than 250 watt but the ampere on +12v will make problems or no? I wanted to get the r9 270x soon and I can use one of both stated psu`s and I need to check the other psu which is not here atm.

+3.3 V / +5 V / +12 V1 / +12 V2 / +5 VSB /-12 V
18 A / 20 A / 17 A / 17 A /2.5 A / 0.8 A

The voltage selector is a slide switch that is orange in the picture I saw - if you wall voltage is 220 select that - if it is 120....Most newer psu don't care if your voltage is between 100V & 250V the efficient design copes with a wide input range. As I stated above the specs that are publish can be fact or fiction. If you can find a good third party test of your psu to prove those specs it would be fine. I just do not feel comfortable suggesting you keep/use that power supply.

Yes the picture is strange to me... they have few versions of the same models and mixed up the pictures, there is no switch on my psu but I doubt the quality even without. I just found one review of another of their psu`s and I need to search for more today when I have more time. Even if the specs would be real the ampere on +12v are not good or?

I see, well i will have to check the other psu when I go to the other house in the next weeks and see if there are any switches and if what model it is exactly to check with the brands website and to look for reviews. For general what psu would be good for like 450-500watt with a good 80 certificate to save a bit from monthly electricity bills when you use the pc alot? I will upgrade the GPU to r9 270x OC and in 1 year or later a i5 if I can save enough money. I don`t want a way too high psu power because the system does not and would not need more than 250watt anyway, just the quality that It won`t get damaged in 1-2years, good efficiency and not much noise but if possible not that expensive, corsaix maybe?

I saw one review of this power supply - I am not familiar with the reviewer so I take their positive review with a grain of salt. It did exhibit good regulation and exceeded it power output capability. Is this a power supply you have or one you're thinking of purchasing? If you are buying - how much?

I think to get it since it has good results in 2-3 reviews, 80+ bronze, it is quiet and it has all protections build in, price is 65€ atm.

Maybe I upgrade my system to this setup: and OC later

core i5 4670k
r9 270x Sapphire toxic - already using it
250GB Seagate Baracuda - already using it
2x4GB 1600MHz Vengeance LP DDR3 RAM
CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Evo or maybe a better cooler but not too much expensive, not sure
ASRock Z87 Extreme3 Intel Z87 So.1150 Dual Channel DDR3 ATX Retail

http://www.mindfactory.de/product_info.php/530-Watt-be-quiet--Pure-Power-L8-CM-Modular-80--Bronze_757838.html seems nice, RMA 2% and sold very often here
