Hy,im facing a weird problem.I tried installing java from java.com and everytime the download stops at around 99%.I tried offline download through idm,it had the same problem but after trying multiple times i downloaded and installed it.But my browsers or system could not detect the installed java...any help appreciated.Thankyou.

What browser are you using? Chrome?
I would suggest, at least temporarily, choose Internet Explorer as your default browser and try again.
First though, uninstall any Java program that shows up in your Installed Programs list.
And make sure there are no Java processes running under the Task Manager.

are two entries you might see there; end those processes as well as any other processes you can do without.
It might be worth disabling anti-virus software and the Firewall in case there are settings there that interfere with what you are trying to achieve.
Then try again.
