Antec HCG M HCG-850M 850W ATX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Certified 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified PSU $134.99

SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE500BW 2.5" 500GB SATA III TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) $339.99

Total of $794.97.

If you really wanted to spend more you could get the AMD 290x graphics card but they are only sold with reference coolers at the moment and run hot. Also the PSU is a bit...

Your computer is fine for gaming and the 2500k can be well overclocked with a good CPU cooler.
If you are going to upgrade anything i would suggest a new graphics card and maybe a SSD if you don't already have one. The rest of your system is fine:)

sandy is equal to ivy and broadwell imo. only difference is sandy can run at higher clocks and broadwell has a higher ipc. ivy is inbetween the 2.

get a good aftermarket cooler and shoot for 5ghz, it will be as fast as an overclocked broadwell.

get a new gpu and maybe a ssd as suggested. maybe 2 gpus and a psu, since you seem keen on dropping big bucks.

if you get 2 topline gpus i suggest you get a monitor that does 2560x1440. otherwise it would be a waste.

As all the above comments say, your system looks fine to game hard on with the exception of the graphics card you have.

What display set up are you using, that will determine the best graphics card to get, also if a new PS may be needed to run it (them), the high end cards are around 250W, your 6850 is only 127W.

Also an SSD would be a nice upgrade for overall system performance if you do not have one for the OS.

What do you want to spend on a graphics card, PSU and a SSD? Also what size SSD would you want?
I'll have a look and see what's the best i can do with what you want to spend:)
