why dose my cruzer edge not work in my pc

Does your sound device work properly in other circumstances?
It could be that the audio on the Cruzer is 5.1 or something as opposed to stereo left and right.
In the player you use on the PC, see if there is a setting to change audio channels used for playback.
There should be an 'Audio Settings' where you can do this.
Any help?
