Upgrading a P5QL PRO

Hello, Im an gamer with no clue about computers other than reading system requirements for games. I have an old computer which im intending to upgrade, but lacking the knowledge in what to upgrade. I want to be able to play League of Legends with high fps, and also enjoy the graphics of any other game whitout lag. My price range 500$.

Motherboard: P5QL PRO
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU @ 2.80GHz (2 CPUs)
Memory: 4,00 GB RAM
Graphic card: NIVIDIA GeForce GTS 250

I would dump everything but the Power Supply, Graphics card & the Hard drive and start fresh, as socket 775 is very old and outdated and hard to find.

Here is a better build - just re-use your Power Supply, hard drive and case -

I honestly think you need to start fresh as many (if not, all) of those parts are outdated.
